Therapy for anxiety
You can be capable and dependable while spending a lot of time worrying. You may replay conversations, think through every possible outcome or have trouble relaxing once the day is over. From the outside, things might look fine. Living with that much tension can feel very different.
I offer online anxiety therapy for adults in the Bay Area and throughout California. We can work on what is making life difficult without expecting you to arrive with a clear explanation.

When thinking it through is not enough
You might already know that you cannot control everything. That insight does not necessarily stop the checking, second-guessing or sense that you should be doing something more.
Anxiety can show up at work, in relationships or in the moments when nothing urgent is happening. Therapy gives us time to understand when it appears and how you have been trying to manage it.
How I work with anxiety
My approach combines conversation with attention to your immediate experience. We might look at a recurring worry, the expectations behind it, or what happens in your body as you talk about a difficult situation.
I take an active role. I ask questions, offer perspective and help you notice patterns that are hard to see when you are caught in them. Together, we look for ways to respond that give you more choice in everyday life.
The aim is not to eliminate every uncomfortable feeling. It is to help anxiety take up less space in the decisions you make and the life you want.
What if I have already been in therapy?
You are welcome to bring what helped and what did not. We do not need to discard what you have learned or repeat work that no longer feels useful. We can explore what still needs attention.
What if I cannot explain why I feel anxious?
You do not need to know why before starting. Describing what you notice is enough for a first conversation.
