Bridging Neuroscience and Wisdom Traditions.

From mindfulness and meditation to neuroscience informed trauma theory,  I combine ancient techniques with modern approaches. Understanding how the world of psychology comes together with that of neuroscience provides the foundation of my work.

Turning these concepts into individual practices is my sweet spot. This goal is to ultimately bringing together heart and mind, integrating two critical parts of your humanity and allowing you greater access to all of who you truly are.

A space to be you.

I don't consider​ myself a blank slate, nor do I hide behind one. In my practice there is space for you to be you and even try on a new way of relating. In our work together you can expect a kind, open and receptive therapist. My intention is to help create the conditions for you to become whoever you really are, as I believe relationships are one of the only true ways we can heal. 

In our work together you will be able to get feedback from me, engaging in a way that might be different from other types of therapy. I don`t just sit around and nod my way through our sessions, rather I engage and challenge you towards growth via genuine human to human contact.

Finding aliveness in the body.

I place an emphasis on what is happening for my clients in their bodies during our sessions. Somatics (body and movement studies) give us signals we can use to understand the wounds that still remain in our lives. This way of working is one of the most important avenues towards healing and one of the principle ways to work through trauma. The body has a language that can often be different from that of the mind. Let me help you learn to reconnect to your body, finding aliveness where it can be fully felt and expressed.

Embracing ritual as important to life.

Our minds understand the world largely through symbols. Relating to the world in such a way is a crucial part of life. By defining beginnings and endings, rituals help structure our lives and social worlds in a way we can better integrate them. This greatly helps us make meaning of our experiences, bring support and structure to the big emotions connected to them. Inviting an authentic practice of ritual into your life can be a new way of finding balance while bringing a dimension of aliveness into your body. My work helps support you in rediscovering this magic, bring a more vibrant and meaningful quality to the rhythms of life.

An invitation to come home to yourself.

As children we can loose track of our own feelings, forced to cater to the needs of others around us. It can be easy to abandon our authentic Self in an effort to find love and please others. I help clients find the path back to themselves, learning how to re-connect to their wants, needs and deep inner voice. In reconnecting with your True Self you may find a level of clarity, equanimity and aliveness that feels so familiar. This is because you were born with that connection. So how can you help me Frank?

I see our minds as directly and intimately connected to our bodies. Bringing both parts into the picture is integral to my philosophy. With this as the framework, I listen to what it is you are struggling with, what negative feelings of anxiety and stress you are consumed by, in order to co-create a strategy to bring practices and support into your life. This intention is in an effort to move you from a place of internal turbulence to a place of focus, peace and presence. My tool kit comes from years of refining my own practices, as well as spending hundreds of hours both reading and exploring different traditions, technologies and body oriented modalities. This journey has moved me away from stress and anxiety as a baseline and I am grateful for how different of a person I am today. The help of others along the path was an invaluable part of my process and I wish to give back by supporting you.

My most important value in this work is dedication. Working together I bring a compassionate and direct approach to helping you find tools that are a good fit. There are thousands of ways to heal, but learning to properly integrate and weave them into a practical method for you is where I come in. I have a range of suggested practices as well as a wealth of referrals that can be the perfect combination for helping you find healing. Remember we are not putting a band aid on an old problem rather are working together to develop a new lifestyle and form new habits that will support you in finding the wellness that already exist within.
